Hi, I’m Kay Barker, and I know starting something new can be both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. Here’s what you can expect in your child’s first Accelerated Piano Lab class.

First, we’ll make sure your child feels welcome. Our teachers are great at putting kids at ease and creating a positive environment. We’ll introduce them to their classmates and give them a quick overview of what to expect.

During the class, we’ll focus on hands-on learning. Your child will explore the piano, practice basic skills, and start working on their first piece. Even if they’ve never played before, they’ll leave feeling accomplished and excited to come back.

Your child will be surrounded by other kids who are just as excited as they are to learn. It’s inspiring and motivating for kids to see others make progress alongside them—and it makes the experience so much more fun.

Finally, we’ll give you a clear plan for what’s next. From practice tips to upcoming goals, you’ll know exactly how you can support your child’s progress and how we’ll be supporting them too!

The first class is just the beginning of an exciting journey—and we can’t wait to help your child get started!
