Virtual Lessons at Musicologie
We are now teaching remote lessons to anyone, anywhere. These are live, one-on-one lessons, just like in-person lessons, but held over secure video chat. You’ll get connected to one of our great teachers who will guide you through everything you need to know on your instrument. For all ages, all instruments, and all abilities.
You might be wondering, how will that work? What if I don’t have an instrument? My child is very young, or won’t sit still. Will video lessons work for them? Great questions. We have answers.
What to Expect at Your Virtual Lesson
When you sign up, we’ll schedule a session with one of our 50+ friendly, experienced teachers. At your lesson time, the teacher will email you a link to their secure, recorded virtual lesson room and you’ll get started.
Do Virtual Lessons Work For All Ages?
Yes! We’ve taught lessons to everyone from very young kids to adults and retirees. We have some tips and tricks to make it a valuable experience even for young, restless students.
The First Lesson is Free
The first lesson – we call it an assessment lesson – is free! Give it a try. We think you’ll love it.
What Students Are Saying
Our Perfect Match Promise™
We’re so confident we have the right teacher for you that if you do a first lesson with a teacher and decide the match isn’t perfect, you can try a lesson with any other teacher for free until you find the right one. We call it the our Perfect Match Promise.
Our Proven Curriculum
We combine a variety of proven, standard curriculum with lessons tailored to each student based on age, instrument and ability. We have a curriculum director in charge of maintaining our library, studying new methods and training our teachers to be experts at using all the lesson, theory and recital books we have available, from RCM and Suzuki to Alfred’s and Faber.
