Musicologie Certified: Level M1

Rhonda, M.M. in vocal performance, is passionate about teaching students to find their free and expressive singing voice as well as the fundamentals of musical training at the piano. Rooted in classical singing and technique, she has additional training in singing health, commercial styles and voice overs. Rhonda has sung several operatic and oratorio roles, been featured as a recitalist and sings with Central Ohio’s premier professional chamber choir, LancasterChorale. Her choral credits also include Santa Fe Desert Chorale and Orpheus Chamber Singers. Guiding music majors as they embark on their careers in music, Rhonda is currently on voice faculty at Kenyon College and Mount Vernon Nazarene University and recently at Dallas Baptist University and Texas Woman’s University.
Rhonda loves to meet singers wherever they are in their vocal abilities, discover more about themselves and to become more confident in their unique voices. Singing is one of many ways of self expression and musical communication. It’s an honor for her to be a part of each student’s journey.
