Owen Barba

A graduate of Cleveland State’s Jazz program, Owen has been drumming since the age of seven. Playing out regularly since age 15, Owen has developed a keen sense of presence on the Cleveland music scene, and can be found performing a variety of music.

Owen believes that there is nothing more important in life than following your heart, and encourages all students to find something that they enjoy, while giving them the tools to do so. He uses drums as a way to teach self understanding, humility, and creativity for all students, while taking a specially disciplined approach for more advanced students in order to meet their goals.
