Matthew Umphreys

Matthew is a pianist who has never let genre define him – from banging on the piano strings with chopsticks at Carnegie Hall (they were not thrilled) to playing Elton John songs in the terminal at CVG, and everything in between (jazz, church music/hymns, opera, even Mozart!), Matthew loves to explore every kind of music, especially when he gets to collaborate with great people. He also loves riding roller coasters, practicing yoga, and watering his many houseplants!
