Musicologie Certified: Level M1
Eric Neuenschwander got a love of music from his parents. In college, his mother once got to sing under the baton of Aaron Copeland. His Dad went from having days worth of music on vinyl, to Cassettes, to CD’s and finally his iPod. Needless to say, car trips were filled with sing-a-longs. He started taking piano lessons at age 6 from Deloris Kefalos; picked up a saxophone in 5th grade to play in the band; joined his church choir in junior high and school choirs in high school. He graduated with his Bachelors in Music Education in 2011 from The Ohio State University after spending years with The Men’s Glee Club, Chorale, and co-founding Majors and Minors, a co-ed accapella group. During college, Eric also discovered a love of musical theatre thanks to Off the Lake Productions.
You can currently find Eric performing for various community theatre productions around Columbus both on stage and in the pit as well as singing the national anthem(s) for the occasional Columbus Crew Game.
