Clarinet Lesson Basics

The Bb clarinet is the most popular version of the clarinet. It's a great beginner instrument and most winds players start on the clarinet. The fingering is similar to both sax and flute, so the clarinet provides a great baseline for winds players to grow into other instruments. Most professional players can play clarinet, saxophone and flute. They might even be required to know all three in a band or musical theatre context.

Whether you have a beginning student who wants to learn, or you have some experience and want to get back into it,
we can help you get where you want to go!

I’ve taken many lessons the last 20 years at several different types of studios and music schools. This is one of the best music schools for private lessons in Columbus
