Online Lessons at Musicologie
We are now teaching online lessons to anyone, anywhere. These are live, one-on-one lessons, just like in-person lessons, but held over secure video chat. You’ll get connected to one of our great teachers who will guide you through everything you need to know on your instrument. For all ages, all instruments, and all abilities.
You might be wondering, how will that work? What if I don’t have an instrument? My child is very young, or won’t sit still. Will online lessons work for them? Great questions. We have answers.
What to Expect at Your Online Lesson
When you sign up, we’ll schedule a session with one of our 50+ friendly, experienced teachers. At your lesson time, the teacher will email you a link to their secure, recorded virtual lesson room and you’ll get started.
What Instruments are Available for Online Lessons?
We teach piano lessons, guitar lessons, voice lessons, and drum lessons, as well as strings, brass, woodwinds and more. Piano, guitar or ukulele are especially great for online learning. It’s easy to get set up in your home with a computer, phone or other device, and sit down with your guitar, uke or set up your keyboard and get started.
Do Online Lessons Work For All Ages?
Yes! We’ve taught lessons to everyone from very young kids to adults to retirees. We have some tips and tricks to make online lessons valuable even for young, restless students. Many students who were skeptical of the online format at first have come to love it. It’s a great learning environment and incredibly convenient: no packing up the car and kids, no traffic, no parking. All you have to do is turn on your computer and you’re ready to go.
