I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since Musicologie first opened its doors. What started as a dream to bring quality, modern music education to our community has blossomed into something beyond what I could have imagined. We’ve come so far, and Musicologie’s 10th birthday feels like the perfect time to reflect on how much we’ve grown, what we’ve accomplished, and where we’re headed next.

First, let me say—HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY TO US! Our Musicologie 10th Birthday Bash at Land-Grant Brewing Company was unforgettable. If you were there, you know exactly what I’m talking about. It was an absolute blast.

We kicked off the day with the Musicologie Student All Star Concerts. Our students never cease to amaze me, and this time was no different. The talent and energy they brought to the stage were electric. Seeing them perform in front of such a supportive crowd reminded me exactly why we started Musicologie—to inspire people to connect with music, themselves, and each other in a way that truly matters.

A massive thank you to the incredible local bands who played and made the event even more special. The Raineys, O.R.B., The Whirlybirds, and Popgun absolutely crushed it. These bands brought their all, turning the celebration into an epic, unforgettable party that felt just like a big family reunion.

And of course, we couldn’t have pulled this off without our amazing Community Managers: Alexa Joy Rybinski, Alexx Burris, Ben Williams, Nick Terelle, Ali Taliani, and Teagan Moster. These guys worked their patooties off to make sure the day went off without a hitch. It’s not easy pulling off an event like this, but they did it with style, grace, and a lot of heart.

Another thank you, thank you, thank you is due to our incredible franchisees and owners, who have been instrumental (pun intended) in growing the Musicologie family. Megan Rainey, owner of Musicologie Dublin, and Dustin and Courtney Bowden, franchisees of Musicologie Westerville and Musicologie Gahanna, have poured their hearts into building thriving communities of students, teachers, and music lovers. We’re so grateful for their passion, leadership and commitment to spreading the joy of music!

To our teachers: you guys ROCK. I say this all the time, but you’re the heartbeat of Musicologie. Your dedication to teaching, inspiring, and guiding our students is what makes us who we are. Thank you for all you do, every day.

To our students: we’re here because of you. Watching you grow as musicians is the most rewarding part of this journey. We’re so grateful to be part of your musical lives and can’t wait to see what you’ll accomplish in the years ahead.

And thank you to some other incredible local businesses and artists who added their magic to the day:

As I look back on this incredible journey, I’m just so grateful. What we’ve built is more than just a music school—it’s a community. And I am stoked that this is only the beginning.

The next chapter for Musicologie is even more exciting! We’re taking what we’ve created and expanding it nationwide. That’s right—we’re offering the opportunity to franchise Musicologie. The goal is to bring our passion for music education to communities all over the country, making it accessible and simply delightful for anyone who wants to learn. I can’t wait to see what the future holds as we grow and spread the joy of music to more students, more families, and more communities.

Here’s to another 10 years of music, growth, and community. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. 💙🧡
