Getting Started with Video Lessons
To protect our students and teachers, and do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19, we have temporarily moved all our lessons to video lessons. If you’re a current student, here’s what you need to do:
- Download Zoom on your laptop or device (phones work too!). That’s the video chat software we use. It’s free! Here’s the link: https://zoom.us/support/download
- Create an account. Preferably use the email you registered at Musicologie with. If you use another email, you may end up having to create a new Zoom account when your teacher invited you to their video chat.
- Be ready with your instrument in a quiet place at your normal lesson time. Your teacher will email you a link to the session, and you’ll begin!
Note: Your lesson time will not change, your teacher will not change, and it will not look different in the Musicologie scheduling app. It will still say “Weekly Piano Lesson” or “Weekly Voice Lesson” (or whatever your instrument is!)
